The Cookeville High girls soccer team won the District 6-AAA Tournament title with a 2-1 triumph over Warren County High in McMinnville Thursday night. The Lady Cavs won 2-1 to advance to the championship game. CHS, with sophomore Abby Collins, now hosts Cleveland High in a region contest.
The First Baptist volleyball teams made a clean sweep on Thursday night as the youth beginner team defeated Trinity B in three games, the youth experienced team beat Steven Street, and the C team defeated the River in three games. All three teams begin tournament action next Thursday.
