The Cookeville High girls soccer team closed out the regular season with a 5-0 win over Cumberland County High on Senior Night Thurday. Sophomore Abby Collins played strong in the midfield for the Lady Cavs. CHS improved to 11-4-2 overall and 7-1 in district play. The Lady Cavs enter the district tournament as the Number 2 seed after losing a tiebreaker with Warren County. CHS begins district tournament play on Tuesday, October 18 hosting Coffee County at 7:00 p.m.
