Music-Missions Winter Kickoff

The First Baptist children kicked off the New Year with a Music-Missions Kickoff on Wednesday. This football and basketball themed party featured plenty of recreation, a missions video and music. Children in grades 1-6 were split into four teams lead by youth Abby Collins, Matt Collins, Skyelar Hibbs, Courtney Hutcherson and Kylie Wade and competed in several games and relay races to win the Golden Cone. A Spirit Noodle was also awarded to the team who did the best job encouraging their players. The night started with a balloon game and progressed to a few other games before a missions video and activity with Carolyn Jernigan. Children came back into the gym and enjoyed music with Neisha Hibbs. The night conclude with relays through an obstacle course. The White Team won the Golden Cone while the Red Team captured the Spirit Noodle. Children's choirs and mission groups resume Wedensday, January 11.
